Who's Cat is This?

Somewhere between the time of the sun burning my flesh and the crack heads falling asleep, I was enjoying a nice evening teaching myself how to color, beyond staying in the lines.

As I looked up from my painted preserved tree, I noticed someone's cat was in my yard last night...

If y'all are looking for your beloved family member, I found it. It kind of tore up my yard. Please make sure your pets stay on a leash when letting them outside. And remember, if you're cold, they're cold. Bring them inside.

Review: Blending Colored Pencils

I tried blending colored pencils for the first time and I was blown away by the results!

Extra Tips:

Need inspiration? Pick a your favorite plant or animal to start with.

Erasers don't erase everything after it's been blended, but they do lighten happy accidents.

Don't press too hard in to the paper with your pencils. The color will remain in the grain of the paper and won't move very well. Keep adding layers.

I don't have any cool tips for white colored pencils...

Let me know some cool tricks you know for colored pencils in the comments below!
